Christopher John Bolin

            Angola – Christopher John Bolin, 53, of Angola passed away Feb 5, 2016 at his home.  Christopher was born May 29, 1962 in Madrid Spain, the son of the late William F. Bolin and Marie (Nucci) Bolin who survives in Angola, Indiana. He graduated from Angola High School in 1980 and attended Ball State University. Chris worked as a district manager for Amerigas in Indianapolis prior to moving back to Angola in 2012. Chris was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola.  He enjoyed photography, fishing, motorcycles and especially boating.  He was passionate about God, his family, caring for animals and singing.  He sang in a church choir in Indianapolis and most recently with St. Anthony’s church choir.

            He is survived by his mother Marie Bolin, his brother Jeff (Migdelia) Bolin of Carmel, Karen (Danny) Eyster of Angola and Cathy (Barney) Bryan of Angola. Nieces and nephews include Jackie (Kyle) Christman, Emily (Jeff) Bryan-Martzall, Joseph Bryan, Gina (Nick) Cocanower, Alyssa Bryan, Madison Bryan, Jason (Stacey) Meek, Jennifer Meek, Chris Meek, Cody (Mary) Eyster, Claudia Bolin, Christina Bolin, Carmen Bolin, and Jeffrey Bolin.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, Feb 9th at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Bernard Zajdel officiating and Fr. Wilfrid Logsdon concelebrating.  Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Feb. 9th at St. Anthony Church. Interment will follow at Circle Hill Cemetery.  H.E. Johnson & Son’s Funeral Home in Angola is in charge of arrangements.  Memorials are suggested to St. Anthony Church/Choir.
