Angola:  H. Edwin “Eddie” Klink, age 79, died Friday July 7, 2017 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola.  He was born May 27, 1938 in Angola to the late Harry and Leora (Van Aman) Klink.  He was a graduate of Angola High School Class of 1956. He was a 3rd generation licensed Funeral Director at the family owned former Klink Funeral Home in Angola from 1957-1969.

He was the Co-Owner of House of Glass in Angola for 30 years, He married Nancy Lee German  March 14, 1958 in Angola and she preceded him in death on October 24, 1998. He was a 50+ year member of F&AM Lodge #236 in Angola, National Rifle Assoc., RV Buddies and former member of Angola Jaycees. He enjoyed life with many likings, racing boats on Crooked Lake, motorcycle and snowmobile riding, years of couples card club with best friends, Gun and Car Shows, golfing, RVing, watching NASCAR and westerns on TV, spending winters in Florida riding bicycle and walking the beach. He genuinely loved and was proud of his daughters, sons-in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters; Tammie (Jim) Gasaway, Lauri (Jeff) Wells and Becky(Denny) Herman all of Angola, six grandchildren; Erin (Bryan) Schiffli, Holly Tom, Chelsey (Ben) Hoffman, Jordan Wells, Tyler Herman and Shelby Herman (fiancé Anthony Buell), two great-grandchildren; Emilyn Wray and MaKenzy Schiffli. Also surviving is his companion of 17 years Lana Culver, one brother; R. Lawrence (Skip) Klink of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, one step-brother; Pat Van Aman, of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Leora Klink, wife Nancy Klink, and two sister-in-laws Susie Klink and Joan Klink.

Visitation will be 3-7pm Thursday July 13, 2017 with Masonic services conducted at 7:00pm at H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West St. Angola. Funeral Services for H. Edwin “Eddie” Klink will be conducted at 11:00am Friday July 14 at the funeral home with calling 1 hour prior to service time. Rev. Daryl Emowrey of Calvary Lutheran Church, Angola, will officiate. He will be laid to rest in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, following the service. The family requests memorials be given in memory of their loved one to; Steuben County Cancer Assoc., P.O.
