Joan M. (Smolinske) Klink

Angola:  Joan M. Klink of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, formerly of Angola, died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital after a brief illness.  She was 79.  She was born in Kendallville, Indiana November 1, 1937 to the late Robert and Opal (Ferris) Smolinske.  She formerly worked at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital as the secretary to the President of the Hospital. She married R. Lawerence “Skip” Klink September 12, 1987 in Angola and he survives.  She was a member of the Hot Springs Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter.  She loved working in her flower garden, loved animals, reading and being with her family. 

Surviving is her husband R. Lawerence “Skip” Klink of Hot Springs Village, AR.  Four daughters;  Sherie Hampshire(Daniel Sigler) of Fort Wayne, IN., Jeanna (Doug) Anderson of Angola, Tereasa (Bradley) Gay of Fremont, Darleana Crofoot of Angola,Two step-children;  Mark (Patti) Klink of Angola and Julie West of Powell, OH., 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and a sister Betty (Jack) Edmonds of Wawaka, IN. She was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Smolinske.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West St. Angola from 4 – 7 PM.  Services will be private. 

Memorials may be given to the Steuben County Humane Society, 1700 N. 200 W. Angola, Indiana 46703.
