Angola, Lela Jane (Janie) Stultz, 88, passed away Friday, July 3rd in Angola, Indiana surrounded by her family following a short illness. Jane was born on January 26, 1927 in Jay County, Indiana. She was a graduate of Pennville High School. On February 11, 1945 she married George F. Stultz, who preceded her in death.
Jane is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Pat Stultz of Greensboro, N.C.; and a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Dave Calvin of Angola. Four grandchildren; Brad Stultz of Charleston, S.C., Wes Stultz of Charleston, S.C., Lori Hickey of Angola and Marla Calvin of Gainesville, FL; six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a younger sister, Norma Jean Simmons and her husband Dave of Lake Coleman, TX., and her beloved dog Sophie.
Calling will be from 11am to 12pm on Tuesday July 7, 2015 followed by a Memorial Service at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West Street, Angola. Pastor Matt Love will officiate.
