Blaine A. Nichols

Blaine A. Nichols, 85, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at Aperion Care Angola.  He was born on August 26, 1933 to the late Arthur and Myrtle (Hoffman) Nichols.  He graduated from Angola High School in 1952. He married Ellen E.(Milliman) Nichols on June 23, 1955 at the Angola Methodist Church.  He was employed by Watkins Oil Co. in Hillsdale, MI for 20 years.  Blaine was in the Indiana National Guard for 20 years.

He was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association, Indiana KYCH (Knights of York Cross of Honor), Angola Blue Lodge #236, Angola York Rite Bodies, (Commandery #45, Angola Chapter #58, Angola Council #27).  Indiana Past Commander's Association of Knight's Templar.  Fort Wayne Commandery #4, Pokagon Council #147 of Allied Masonic Degree's, and Past Master for Masonic Lodge #210 in Fremont. Past Grand Chaplin for the State of Indiana York Rite Council. Past Commander for Angola York Rite #45, Past High Priest and Illustrious Master of the Angola York Rite Bodies. He received the Distinguished Service Award of the Angola Commandery.

Mr. Nichols was a 20 year member of the Coldwater Police Reserves.

Per Mr.Nichols wishes was that he requested cremation with no services.
