Darrell C. Wilson

Butler:  Darrell C. Wilson, 90, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at DeKalb Health in Auburn surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.

He was born on February 10, 1927 in Butler to the late Ralph L. and Olive F. (Houser) Wilson.  Darrell served in the Merchant Marines during WW II. He married Margaret A. (Priebe) Wilson in April of 1947, and she preceded him in death on February 14, 2017. He and his wife Margaret were married for 70 years.  He worked for I&M (AEP) for 42 years retiring in1989, after retiring he worked for Workers World in Butler for 17 years.  He was a member of the Butler American Legion Post 202 and Forest Lodge # 239 F&M in Butler. He was an avid Tiger fan, and enjoyed be with his family.Surviving is one son; Terry (Sally) Wilson of Waterloo, two daughters; Jody (Tome) Krchev of Ft. Wayne and Renee (Randy) Koeppe of Hamilton.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Amy Hannon of Fort Wayne, Justin West of Fort Wayne, Jessica Sordelet of Columbia City, Joel Wilson of Fort Wayne, Nick Wilson of Waterloo, Drew Koeppe of Hamilton and Brooke Koeppe of Hamilton, two brothers; Art Wilson of Lafontaine, Indiana and Kendall Wilson of Fort Wayne, three sisters; Jean Hilton of Fort Wayne, Francis Bourqin of Fort Wayne and Sharon Harrold of Auburn.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Wilson.
