Frank L. Stong

Butler:  Frank L. Strong, 65, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at his home. Frank was born in Ft. Wayne September 12, 1951 to the late Lloyd and Bernice (Drake) Strong.  He married Judith Kay (Ricketts) Strong on June 4, 1974 at the Newville United Methodist Church, and she preceded him in death on October, 26, 2013.  He worked for the Steuben County Highway Department for 34 years, retiring in 2013.  He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his granddaughter. He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Strong of Butler, and a half-brother, Gary Strong of St. Joe.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a half-brother, Paul Strong and a half-sister; Sharon Dickerhoof.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Coburn Corner’s Church of Christ, 6813 CR 64 St. Joe, IN 46785 with Pastor Lynn A. Hart officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Newville.  Calling will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM that same day.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials be sent to the Coburn Corner’s Pre-School.
