Kathryn L. (Ginder) Betz

Butler:  Kathryn L. Betz, 92, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Warsaw Meadows Care Center where she had resided for the past five years.  Kathryn was born on March 22, 1924 to the late Harry and Zola (Beard) Ginder.   She married Marion Betz on December 15, 1945 in Angola, and he preceded her in death in July of 1984.  Kathryn enjoyed playing the piano.  Surviving is a Son, Marlin (Karen) Betz of Plymouth, IN., five grandchildren; David Betz, Lindsay Betz Mann, Rachel Betz, Jason Murray and Amanda Murray Knox, twelve great- grandchildren and a sister, Irene Curry of Butler.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marion, a son Larry and daughter-in-law Diane Betz, and two sisters: Genevieve Keller and Viola Reinhart.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2 p.m at the H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home,  212 N. Broadway, Butler, Indiana with Pastor Christine E. Fodrea of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church officiating, burial will be in the Butler Cemetery.  Calling is on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 12 – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
