Coldwater, Michigan: Lyle R. Tritch, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility, Coldwater, MI. He was born February 24, 1952 in Angola to the late William L. and Thelma M. (Sanders) Tritch. He was a 1970 graduate of Angola High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1972. Lyle married Maria Ann (Ludwick) Tritch on September 2, 2006 in Fremont, and she survives in Coldwater, MI. He previously worked at General Aluminum in Fremont and then retired from AMCAST in Fremont. He was a volunteer fireman and EMT for the Ashley-Hudson Fire Dept. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #2387 in Fremont. Lyle enjoyed watching drag racing, bull riding, cooking, gardening and photography.
He is survived by one son; Adam J. Tritch of Auburn, one step-son; Trever L. Vierling of Kalamazoo, MI., one daughter; Sarah M. (Steve) Doreff of New Haven, one step-daughter; Erin M. Vierling of Marshall, MI. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, two brothers; Jim (Rita) Tritch of Hudson, Ron (Sherry) Tritch of Fremont, one sister; Sandy Farrell of Angola. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West St. Angola with Pastor Chuck Fenwick of the New Haven United Methodist Church officiating. Private burial will be held in Circle Cemetery, Hudson, IN. at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 11-2p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 prior to services at the funeral home.
