Marceline J. Davis

Auburn:  Marceline J. Davis, 88, formerly of Butler, died Friday, June 23, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Butler on February 8, 1929 to the late Roy and Irene M. (Gunsenhouser) Robbins.  She was a graduate of Butler High School, and was a nurse for 40 years working for DeKalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn and after retirement for Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.  Marceline married Kenneth L. Davis on November 19, 1949 in Butler, and he preceded her death on May 20, 1999.  She was a member of the Auburn Church of Christ, loved to read, do crossword puzzles, eating out with friends and traveling.

Surviving her is a daughter; Lauri J. (Fred) Ley of Golden Colorado, two grandchildren; Jonathan and Jordan Ley of Golden Colorado.  Also surviving are two brothers;  Allen Robbins of Mesquite, Texas and Dennis Robbins of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, one sister; Anita Shultz of Butler.  She was preceded in death by a sister Sue Ulm.

Memorial Services will take place at 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Auburn Church of Christ, 208 W. 18th Street, Auburn, with calling 10:00 AM to time of the service.  Associate Minister Travis Fox will be officiating.  Memorials are to the Church.
