Matthew Lee Sutton

Butler:  Matthew Lee Sutton, 29, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017.

He was born on November 28, 1987 in Fort Wayne to Allen L. and Susan M. (Scott) Bonar.  He graduated from DeKalb High School in June of 2006 and worked at CJ Automotive in Butler for several years.  He enjoyed playing with is son Dominic, and being with his family.  Matt’s eye condition was Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy for LHON disease.  He donated his eyes to help further the cause.

He is survived by his mother and father; Susan M. and Allen L. Bonar of Butler, his son Dominic Vincent Sutton and Dominic’s mother Alana Murphy both of Auburn.  Maternal Grandparents; Bev and Larry Martin of Ft. Wayne, Paternal Grandparents; Grace Bonar and Charlie Hamman of Auburn.  Two brothers;   Dustin Bonar of Cromwell, IN. and Andrew Hammock of Caledonia, MI.  Two sisters;  Sarah Simpson of Franklin, IN and Heather Brown of Cromwell, IN.  Also surviving is his extended family; Dennis, Andrew, Denise, Robin and Lucas, and many aunt’s uncle’s and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday October 22, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 212 N. Broadway in Butler.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home in Butler.  Burial will follow at the Butler Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Butler.

Memorials can be given in Matthew’s memory to the funeral home to help defray costs.
