Robyn K. (Ulm) Smith

Butler:  Robyn K. Smith, 74, went peacefully to be with her Lord on October 7, 2017, after a courageous 9 ½ year battle with cancer. She was a God committed servant with a never, ever give up attitude.  She was passionate about the Lord, her family, music, singing, scrapbooking and gardening.  She was born September 12, 1943 near Butler to the late R. Keith and Treeva R. (Houck) Ulm.  She married Keith E. Smith on June 29, 1962 at the Butler Church of Christ in Butler, and he survives.  She was a homemaker and did bookkeeping for 5 yrs. at Workers World in Butler.

Robyn is survived by her husband Keith of Butler, one son; Todd (Ruth) Smith of Auburn, one daughter; Ann (Jeff) Scheribel of Ft. Wayne, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, one sister; Nancy (Nick) Miu of Applegate, MI.,  two brothers; Terry (Janalee) Ulm, Bruce (Debbie) Ulm all of Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services for Robyn K. Smith will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Butler Church of Christ, 173 W. Oak St. Butler, IN. with Pastor Scott Lanning officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-1p.m. at the church.  A Celebration of Robyn’s life will be held from 3:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 212 N. Broadway, Butler. Burial will follow at a later date in Eddy Cemetery, Hamilton, IN.  Memorials in memory of Robyn K. Smith may be given to: Butler Church of Christ or Cancer Services of NE Indiana, 6316 Mutual Dr. Ft. Wayne, IN. 46825.
