Darrel Gordon Justice, 84, of Auburn, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 3, 2023.
Darrel Justice was born April 9, 1939 in Myra, Kentucky to Earl Edison Justice and Della Myrtle (Mullins) Justice. He grew up with eight siblings. In 1965, Darrel met Rosie Brown on July 4th introduced by his Aunt Gertie. He married on November 13, 1965 in Clintwood, Virginia. He was a production worker at Fruehauf, Inc. in Fort Wayne IN and Waverly OH for 29 years. Later, he worked at Pullman Industries in Butler, IN as a forklift driver for 10 years.
Darrel was preceded in death by father, Earl Justice, mother Della Justice and brother Alan Justice.
He enjoyed watching sports including boxing, basketball and baseball. His favorite team were the Cincinnati Reds and he was also a big Larry Bird fan. He enjoyed playing Rook card game and watching Western movies. But he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Rosie, wonderful father to his three children and dotting grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Rosie, of 57 years. His children: Son Greg (Dawn) Justice of Fort Wayne IN, daughter: Trena (Mike) Haneline of Woodburn, IN and son: Neil (Julie) Justice of Fort Wayne, IN. Nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 7th at 11 a.m. at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Homes in Butler Indiana with the Rev. David Snodderly of Souls Harbor Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Butler Memorial Gardens in Butler, Indiana. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday June 6th from 5 pm. to 7 p.m.
Memorials may be given to National Kidney Foundation.
