James McCrory Obituary

James Henneford McCrory, 91, of LaGrange, formerly of Angola, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Lakeland Nursing Home and Rehab where he resided for a short time.

James was born on July 14, 1930 in Bluffton, IN to the late Hugh and Helen (Henneford) McCrory. On January 26, 1951 he married Geraldine Luce in Fort Wayne. He was a member of IBEW. James loved cars, fishing, and construction. He built and added on to two of his daughter’s homes.

James is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Geraldine McCrory; daughters, Debi (Randy) Armstrong of Columbia, SC, Linda (Richard) Greenfield of Angola, and Cindy Richardson of Angola; son, David McCrory; brother, John McCrory; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, David Richardson and sister, Sally Brielmaier.

Upon James’ wishes there will be no services.
