Julia Marie (Boehm) de Delva

Julia Marie de Delva, 46, of Angola, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at home. She was born to William and the late Claudia (Wiebke) Boehm on September 21, 1975 in Fort Wayne. Julia married Charles de Delva in June of 1999.

Julia loved canoeing, fishing, traveling, and hunting for arrowheads and gems. She was a bourbon connoisseur and Ambassador for Maker’s Mark. She had a group of close friends who were dear to her. They enjoyed their girls' weekends every year. Julia’s greatest passions were her children and grandchildren.

Julia is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Charles de Delva of Angola; father, William (Sandy) Boehm; children, Tristian de Delva of Port Hueneme, CA, Joshua (Wendy) Boehm of Ossian, IN, Jordan Boehm (Jasmine Barnfield) of Fort Wayne, IN and Mikayla de Delva (Sarah Ambruster) of Van Wert, OH; grandchildren, Sebastian de Delva, Annabelle Cole, Violet Boehm and soon to be born in June, Rosie Boehm; sisters, Lynn Meinerding of South Bend, IN, Lori Morris of  Fishers, IN, Laura Bradford of Fort Wayne, IN, Amy Myers of Fort Wayne, IN , Kelly Meinerding of Fishers, IN and Melinda Winston of Fort Wayne, IN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Angola. Funeral service will be in Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home immediately following visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
