Scott Nance Obituary

Scott F. Nance, 75, of Hamilton, IN passed away Sunday December 31, 2023 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN after losing his battle with cancer.

Scott was born on July 13, 1948 in Chicago, IL to the late David N. and Dorothy R. (King) Nance.

He graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1967 from Monticello. 

Scott was honorably discharged from the US Air Force in 1971. He retired from Hotel Management in 2020 from Siesta Key, FL, where he enjoyed 14 years maintaining a beachside resort and enjoyed many amazing sunsets with resort guests. Scott settled back into his home in Hamilton, IN where he enjoyed having the family over for pontoon and golf cart rides around the lake. He was a loving, kind and supportive husband and friend to all.

He is survived by his children, Son Dave; Daughters Shelly, Genevieve, Andrea and Maren. Step Children – Sons Bill, Chris, Nick Daughters – Pam, Dawn, Cindy along with many Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded by his parents, Dave and Dorothy, and well as his sister Virginia and wife Jane M. (Janie) and her parents (Maurice and Catherine)

Those who knew Scott know that he would rather give than receive.
