Obituary

Susan K. Monroe, 72, passed peacefully July 18th, 2023 with a loved one by her side. Susan was born May 6th, 1951 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to the late Ralph Beals and Audrey Young (Beals). She was the owner and financial bookkeeper at Midwest Services in Angola, Indiana from 1986 to 2017. Susan married the late Stanley W. “Stan” Monroe on April 14th, 1984 in Virginia. Susan was known for her love of dogs, birds, NASCAR Racing, and cooking. Most of all, she loved taking trips with her family and friends.

Surviving is her sister Carol Negrea of New Castle, Pennsylvania, a Nephew Robert Hogue of Long, South Carolina, a Niece Soni Zepplin of Volant, Pennsylvania, a Niece Karen Johnson of Canton, Ohio, a Nephew Daniel Hogue of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.

A Private graveside service for family and close friends will be held on Friday July 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

Family requests memorials be given in memory of Susan K. Monroe to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County or Heart to Heart Hospice.
