William Wayne Weigus

William Wayne “Wayne” Weigus, 81, of Angola, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was born to the late William Anthony and Helen (Licvan) Weigus on November 30, 1941. Wayne loved his dogs. He enjoyed cars and fishing. Everyone he met was a friend.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Bette Weigus; son, Charles “Charlie” (Renee) Weigus of Oakhurst, CA; daughters, Erin Lynn (Jerry) Harman of Hillsdale, MI and Lisa (Jeff) Chard of Angola; grandchildren, Jaden (Jessica), Melissa, Joel (Tarrah), Jonah, Mary, Julian, Emily, Justin, Nikki, Zack and Collin; great-grandchildren, Emerson, Jori, Jensen, Easton, Hailey, Kingston and Ally. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony Weigus.

Funeral service will be on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Angola with visitation beginning two hours prior. Burial will follow the service at Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Steuben County Humane Society.
