Avilla: Darlynne Kay Hulbert, 59, formerly of Butler, died Monday, February 1, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
She was born Saturday, November 24, 1956 at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, to the late Glen and Erma (Rickerd) Hulbert.
She was a 1975 graduate of Eastside High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed scrapbooking and a member of Scrappers 10 “Scrappy Girls”. Her other interests were beading, gardening, reading, fishing and spending time with her granddaughters. She was a member of Christian Assembly of God, Butler.
She is survived by one son; Josh (Christa) Hulbert of Avilla and three granddaughters. Also surviving are four brothers; Robert (Nan) Hulbert of Butler, Bill (Cathy) Hulbert of Butler, Duane Hulbert of Angola and Steven Hulbert of Bloomington, IN. Two sisters; Marsha (Ken) Henry of Avilla and Carolyn Trowbridge of Loveland, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law Kathy Hulbert.
Funeral Services will be 11a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Christian Assembly of God, 7521 US 6, Butler with Pastor Mat Snodderly officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Newville.
Visitation will be 3 – 7 p.m. Friday at H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 212 N. Broadway, Butler.
Preferred memorials are requested to the family.
