Gary Lynn Shaw

Waterloo, IN:  Gary Lynn Shaw, 72, died Thursday, August 4, 2016, at his daughter’s home in Waterloo.  He was born June, 11, 1944 in Lima, Ohio to the late Howard E. Sr., and Audrey F. (Hall) Shaw.  He married Patricia M. (Krontz) Shaw on April 20, 1995 in Angola and she preceded him in death on June 22, 2010.  Gary enjoyed working on cars and racing cars at the Angola, Bryan and Avilla race tracks.

Surviving are two daughters; Beth A. Patrick of Waterloo and Stacy M. (Chris) Poling of Waterloo, one son; James (Teresa) Van Auken of Ligonier, four step-sons; Ron (Laurie) Fraley of Texas, Lou (Shelia) Fraley of Orland, Martin Fraley of Kendallville and Anthony Fraley of Waterloo, one step-daughter; Jeanne (Bill) Kelley of Orland; 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two sisters; Sharon Rowlett and Lois Bartlett both of Garrett.    He was preceded in death by one step-daughter; Cathy Fraley, six brothers; Harold, Gerald, Ronald, Howard Jr., Larry and Gordon Shaw.   

Funeral Services will be held for Gary Shaw on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West Street, Angola with Rev.Wayne M. Prosser officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to services starting at 12 noon. Memorials are requested to be given to the family.
