James W. Albertson

Butler: James W. Albertson, 77, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at Laurel's of DeKalb in Butler. He was born on September 10, 1937 in Butler to the late Charles and Edna (Slentz) Albertson. He formerly worked at Universal Tool and Stamping in Butler, the Butler Company and Bundy Tubing Company in Ashley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Free Bible Tabernacle Church in Butler. He married Shirley J. (Recore) Albertson on March 19, 1960 in Milwaukee, WI. and she survivies. Also surviving are three sons; Billy J. Albertson of Butler, James C. (Deb) Albertson of Canton, Ohio and Joe W. Albertson of Butler and two daughters; Tina (Todd) Payton of Waterloo and April Dawn Albertson of Butler. 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and one sister; BettyZehr of Montpelier, Ohio. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Bill and Joe Albertson and two sisters; Anna Doty and Ruth Groff. Memorial services will be held at 5 PM Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Free Bible Tabernacle Church, 206 W. Washington St. Butler. Visitation is 4 PM to service time at the church.
