Carol Ann (Hollinger) Lung

Butler:  Carol Ann Lung, 79, died Sunday evening at the Laurels of DeKalb in Butler.  Carol was born November 26, 1936 in Waterloo to the late Jay and Violet (Wheeler) Hollinger.

She owned and operated Carols Beauty Shop in Butler for 40years retiring in 2014.  Carol graduated from Butler High School in 1954.  She enjoyed playing the piano and organ.

Surviving are two sons, Jim (Pam) Lung of Butler and Robert H. Lung of Butler and a daughter Denise D. (Dean) Hankey of Butler, five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Brian J. Lung, a sister, Jean Faulkner and a great-grandchild Kaydence Jean Amburggy.

Services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 212 N. Broadway, Butler at 2 pm with Pastor Lathan L. Snyder of SeaBreeze Ministries officiating.  Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery.  Calling will be from 11 am to 2 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
