My thoughts are with all of you in this difficult time. I remember way, way back when Jim was in High School and I, Nancy, Debbie Gerhart and others were kids on Broadway. We thought Nancy's brothers were "dreamy". They always teased us good naturedly and we were all a-Twitter. Jim grew to be a fine man and an asset to the community. I know you all will miss him greatly. All my love to you.

I thought of Jim yesterday when I drove through Butler. He was assistant plating foreman at Kitchen-Quip in Waterloo in 1967 when I started there. He was a great guy to work with. After I left, I had heard he moved on to Rieke's and I'd see him at softball games and catch up with him. His dad George was also a class act, working at the Kitchen- Quip as well. This is sad news...to the family, I wish you strength and I offer my most sincere condolences.

We are so sad at the passing of Jim......we called him "Jimmy" at Sudz. What a guy!
He loved his family, working in his garden, his birds & taking care of the car wash/laundromat for us. He made so many friends there that are missing him too.
